Mike has been going for 20 years now in his own buisness.

Having graduated from Otago University in 1984 , Mike trained in Auckland for Cato Consultants and Beca Carter Hollings and Fernier.

While with Beca’s, Mike was Site surveyor for the Ohakune to Horopito Railway deviation project incorporating the ‘ Hapuawhenua Viaduct ‘ (New Zealand’s longest – high rail bridge) 414m long with a max height of 53 metres. The bridge was completed in 1987 … Ryan Hibberd started working for Mike in 2006 and now is half way through a Diploma in Land Surveying at Carrington Polytec.

The infamous ‘Stoney Batter’ Road was formalised in to a Public Road with a Legalisation Survey completed by Mike and Ryan in 2007. This survey, brought to a conclusion the long running court battle between the Auckland City Council and the property owners at Man of War Bay Farms , near the South end of Waiheke Island.
